Blackpool’s Popular Christmas tree sale is back!

Blackpool Council’s popular Christmas tree sale is back for a second year.

The Nordmann Fir trees, priced at £30 and standing at around 7ft, are on sale now from Blackpool Council’s Household Waste Recycling Centre Re-use Shop on Bristol Avenue.

All trees come with a free log stand.

The child and pet friendly Nordmann Firs, which drop few needles and are Britain’s biggest selling Christmas tree, are expected to be very popular

All trees are netted for transportation.

Cllr Amy Cross, Blackpool Council’s cabinet member for streetscene and the environment, said: “The Christmas tree scheme is back due to popular demand and I know a lot of residents were very happy with it last year.

“They make an ideal feature for any home and I would urge people to snap them up now before they’re all gone.”

Blackpool Council will also help recycle the trees once Christmas is over as part of our green bin collection service.

If your tree is larger than 6ft please cut them down to size to be collected.
