The Lancashire Business View and Fettle Events production will compete against the likes of the NME Awards and the Brand Republic Digital Awards at a ceremony at Banking Hall, London in December.

Richard Slater, producer of the Red Rose Awards, said: “This is a huge honour for a small team from Lancashire.

“We’re the only regional event to be shortlisted, and we’re both proud and excited in equal measures. It shows the hard work and dedication our team puts in

“But, more than that, it’s a testament to all those who contribute to Red Rose Awards – our entrants, judges, sponsors and the 20-plus all-Lancashire suppliers who make the event what it is.

The Red Rose Awards is designed to celebrate Lancashire business, provide the best possible platforms to promote success, and to encourage inter-trading in the county. This year, it presented the biggest indoor dinner in the history of the county, with 1,160 guests.

Over its first four years it has developed a reputation for being a lively and exuberant even where the nominees are at the heart of the action, whilst sticking to its philosophy of great food, entertainment and no long speeches.

The CONNECT Awards will celebrate and reward the very best in events, highlighting the stand-out companies, teams and individuals that can really bring a live experience to life.
