Chester’s Midsummer Watch Parade is one of the oldest and most colourful events in the country. To be held this year on 21st and 22nd June.
600 years in the making and with over 500 local participants, the Watch is firmly established as one of Chester’s most iconic events. Angels, devils, green men and mythical beasts rub shoulders with Romans, St Werburgh, elephants and camels in a parade full of colour and music that dates back to the late 1400s.
Community, Culture, Arts and Heritage working together – this is Chester at its best. 21st and 22nd June, 2pm from Town Hall Square.
