Great British Walk – The Hidden Valley of Watendlath

Join us and our friends at the Lake District National Park for a Great British Walk.

Discover the picturesque hanging valley and delightful hamlet of Watendlath high above Borrowdale. Starting from the Keswick Information Centre in the middle of town take a bus to Rosthwaite from where the walk will begin. In the expert hands of our guides walk over fell, through woodland and along the lakeshore of Derwentwater with this 6.8 mile (11km) walk. Allow 6 hours.

30th September 10am. Meet at the Keswick Information Centre, Moot Hall, Market Square, Keswick, CA12 5JR

You will need to bring your bus fare , but otherwise this walk is free (donations welcome) so just turn up!

Grade: Moderate. Hilly ground with rising and falling levels. A reasonable level of fitness is required. Walking boots are essential along with any walking equipment, warm, windproof and waterproof clothing to suit the walk and season. You may be turned away if not appropriately equipped.
