Chester’s Midsummer Watch Parade is one of the oldest and most colourful events in the country.

600 years in the making and with over 500 local participants, the Watch is firmly established as one of Chester’s most iconic events.

Angels, devils, green men and mythical beasts rub shoulders with Romans, St Werburgh, elephants and camels in a parade full of colour and music that dates back to the late 1400s.

Don’t miss this major summer spectacular. The parade starts from the Town Hall Square, Chester city centre from 2pm.
