The Long Lake Challenge, Windermere, 27 Sept

Amongst Cumbria’s most beautiful natural reserves and scenic landscapes, take on our kayaking challenge along the largest lake in England- Lake Windermere.

This unique challenge will test your endurance as you paddle the 11 mile long course. You will have a choice of taking a rough zig-zagged path, or can take a smooth and easier route if that’s what you prefer.

If you are a novice or even can’t swim, don’t worry! With our specialist training, qualified instructors and state-of-the-art equipment, anyone can participate in this challenge!

Details:

  • Coaches will leave from London Orphans in Need Whitechapel office at 1am on Saturday 27th September to reach Windermere for 8am.
  • You will be met by our specialist instructors who will provide you with kayaking information and equipment.
  • Kayaking challenge will last from 9am-5pm with breaks and lunch stops for a wood-oven pizza!
  • We will depart from Windermere at 5pm to return to London for 1am.
