Cllr Graham Cain, Blackpool Council’s cabinet member for leisure and tourism, said: “We know there will be lots of children and young people who will be looking for something to do during the summer holidays.
“These sessions are running throughout Blackpool and will give mums and dads a breather and young people the chance to enjoy some sport.
“We’re going to be letting young people experience a whole range of activities and the best thing is, they are free and you don’t need any equipment.
“Just bring your trainers along and suitable clothing and have some fun.”
The sessions will continue in all weathers and will be tailored according to the groups taking part.
